Florida is a family of carrier-boards for the Miami SOM to guarantee a quick and hassle-free start of system development and prototyping.
The first member of the Florida family is a board with specific ECG/EEG/EMG measurement circuits on board, making it an ideal platform for medical prototyping.
All available I/O can be routed to a general purpose connector. The routing, type of I/O (e.g. TTL, LVDS, CMOS, …) and supply voltages can easily be configured on the Miami SoM module
To provide optimum flexibility during prototyping our general purpose carrier board offers a complete set of interfaces, such as Gigabit Ethernet, video, CAN, RS422/485, SATA3, motor drive, WiFi, etc.
Typical application areas for this board are:

The PCI-Express board enables seamless integration of the Miami SoM with a standard PC providing an FPGA based co-processor with very high processing power. In addition to the PCI-Express interface, the board also supports a 1Gbit/sec Ethernet interface for remote or local cloud based acceleration as well as a USB 2.0 OTG port for connectivity with e.g. a laptop. Although the data bandwidth compared to PCI-Express is less, the same processing acceleration is achieved using the same low-complexity programming interface.
